Default e-cut out with tb

ive been doing alot of research on e cut outs and i wanna build my own. i like the thread on how to with the crown vic tb, but im gonna go to the junk yard with my batter powered sawsall and cut off the flange from the front of 2 stock catalytic converter, then go to my uncles shop get a good sized pipe that i can weld the flanges on to that way it will be completly a bolt on application and i can bolt my cat up still. then ill weld the rear flange off a stock exahaust and presto. but im gonna use a square plate drill holes then use gasket paper and bolt the throttle body up to it then, well you get the idea i should be starting on it in a few days, ill try to make a write up and alot of pics. im also gonna be using the auto to manual choke cable. tell me what you guys think

Purpose is so you can have an open header whenever you want, or close it and fly below the radar.

Good work! I always wondered if a TB would work for that and how well.

do your self a favor and use silicone around the choke cable or else your gonna get exaust fumes in the car, the only thing about a flange to hold the throttle body is that after a while (like two years of having it)you wont be able to open the throttle body up at high rpms because of the exaust crap built up around the throttle body it just makes it hard... but its so lovley pulling up to a mustang and then they rev up and you open it and they just look stupid, then you drive off like nothing happened quite and all, i had a harley rev on me once, and after i schooled him on sound he gave me the thumbs up, have fun i know i did........
