that is not a ratrod look. the ratrod look is the tough, dont give a **** style that still looks full of muscle, and ready to last forever.

You jsut followed the VW guys who saw a guy with a rusty hood and made it a trend.

Congrats on teh car, but this trend isnt followed here.

How is teh motor? is it similar to our USDM d16a1 dual cam D motors?

Potent with mods! ahve fun

so, you're right ,this is not really a rat's, i prefer the word hoodride too..

anyway...

the engine is a pgm-fi injection ,

the d16a9 seems to be the same engine comparate to U.S ZC engine.

first off, post a wtb in the fs thread up top and in the market place. you may have to modify one from another motor so your thread doesn't get locked.

secondly, i think your car looks like it has hepetitus c. what's with the yellow tint?

other than that, looks decent. i'm jealous of your window visors.

I dont think that is a ratrod. That is more like Tijuana. But I really like the wheels.

good luck finding a SC

Looks good - I like the clean car with dirty hood. Is it a fresh sushi car, or French sushi car? Either way I like it.

I didnt even notice the window visors, good looking out.

When I buy a rex in the spring, it needs visors so I can cruise with the window cracked open in the rain.

There isn't a US ZC engine bro... IMO I don't see the point of the rusted hood and think you just F'd your car up just to follow some other idiots 'fad'

Sweet ride bro. Do something different, no matter what you do, no actually ANYTHING you do to your car there will be at least that one dude who thinks his car is right. Being a community circling around modifying and altering cars from the original state, there really isn't a standard wrong ha ha!!

The hood thing is great, I don't dig the yellow tint headlights. Bet this car will see a few great memories right? Lates duder!

Yes. less then 2 years ago. Was in france for approx 6 days, before going to egypt for a week, then back home.

You are not the only person even in a thousand mile radius to think a rusty hood is worth doing.

Not too many people follow through, generally they have friends that would hold them back

Rusty hoods, just another dumb a$$ fad. Believe me, I've seen many of them come and go but I don't follow fads.

Rat rods are all the rage in hot rods, I guess this is kind of like that. Oh I hate rat rods too.
