Default catalyc converter question

does aftermarket catalyc converter helps?...well, my stock converter is bad and thinking about getting new one.. and i donno if i should buy aftermarket one or stick with oem... any suggestion??

def aftermarket...as long as it is a high flowing one. OEM will cost you more new.

I asked the dealer for a cat. con. for my 89 CRX.....new was $850.

Went OBX. High flow and cost me $100.

Its straight through, and does not have the screen mesh in it.
