hey guys i bought a shell for a good deal im cleaning it up before i ls swap it. The bay is crazy crusty so i pull all the wires and the ac lines and blah blah and sprayed it down with purple power and pressure washed it and then wire wheeled it the whole nine yards. Im moving on to paint the bay now and i plan on rattle canning it any suggestions to what paint i should use? i want a nice glossy finish. thanks

primer, base and clear coat it for best glossy finish. you've already done the work, why half *** it?

I mean, your already putting in the time to prep it. Why use a rattle cam when it only cost a little more to use a base coat and clear coat.

Usually when people refer "rattlecan'ing" a car they use some type of $5 flat black Krylon paint from Hobby Lobby.

Just do it right, either way (spray can or not). Primer, base, clear.

I know. I used the color matched rattle cans to paint my black faded ef8 hood. I'm saying to use the color matched ones, not half adding it with just primer. Get what I mean.
