1989 CRX SI... Sudden Brake Failure...
Whats up everyone. I have a slight issue that i am looking for some help on.
I was driving today and my brakes just went to the floor. I was driving for about 15 miles before it happened. Lucky me it was right before i was pulling into work.
I pumped the brakes a few times driving around the parking lot and it would get stiff after roughly 2 pumps. Then it would sink right to the floor and lock the brakes. No other symptons happened before this. Brakes were working awesome prior to this issue.
After research I have come to the conclusion it is most likely the M>C but i was just hoping for some input.
I have not looked at the car yet due to being at work just trying to get some suggestions on where to start when i look it over after I get off.
P.S. MC is still full of fluid.

You have a leak somewhere.
Could be a wheel cylinder(drum brakes), caliper(disk), brake line(unusual), or a master cylinder.
If you see no signs of a leak, most likley the M/C leaking at the rear.

i had the same thing happen to me in my 90 si, i replaced the master cylinder and no luck. i replaced the brake booster and it cured it haven't have the problem again and it was about two years ago. hope you get it fixed soon cuz that blows.
Well took it by a local shop from work where a buddy of mine works. He let me put it on the lift really quick to take a look.... well what i found was crazy. Brake line cracked. So who ever said that above is the winner. I ricer fixed it just so i can get home. I cut the brake line and put a screw in it. It held the pressure and got me home safely.
After seeing how rusted my drums were it gave me the green light to do a integra disc brake swap. So if any one has the rears from 91-93... let me know i might be interested. ....
I took a few quick pics as well for lulz later....
