Which tranny do i need??

Hey guys i was wondering if you could tell me which tranny i would need to convert a 97 civic cx hatchback from auto to manual? Thanks

Which motor? Any manual tranny that comes with your motor of choice...

its the stock motor which is a d16y7. If i am not going to modify the stock engine should i wait to convert it until i get a engine swap?

id say use a y8 or an hx transmission.
