I am unsure what megasuirt my Sol has, I just bought the car today. It has the cable running out of the ECU into my glove compartment. Problem is that the end is a female. My netbook has a female also, so that ends needs to be a male. Any suggestions I can take pics, and possibly find out from previous owner what ECU it is.

 

Does your laptop have a DB9 serial port? I think what you are looking at is a monitor port.

Your laptop needs to have a DB9 serial port installed in order to use that datalog cable. If you do not have a serial port, some of the newer laptops do not have them, you could get a USB to serial adapter. http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...4139&CatId=464

 

Yeah the cable is a VGA female I guess I coil have said that haha.
