Default Which throttle body?

I have been thinking about upgrading the throttle body on my custom intake manifold. I am on the fence as to which one to go with. I would like to use at least a 75mm t/b. I found 2 that I think would work pretty well. One is a universal 80mm ebay unit. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/80mm-...Q5fAccessories
The other is a ls1 throttle body with a 94mm inlet and a 75mm plate. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-G...ts_Accessories

I was wanting to know if anyone has used either and what issues that they have had i.e. plate sticking or fitment issues. The manifold it is going on is similar to the last one that I made.

thanks but I would like to talk about the throttle body selection instead. If it helps the operating rpm is idle-7,250 rpm. The power level is 400hp/400tq.

If you would rather talk about throttle body selection instead of welding and fabrication. Maybe you should post this in the forced induction forum rather than the welding fab forum.

I believe this is the correct area. If any one was to use either of these units it will involve welding and fabrication. So I would probably reach them here.

Sorry my bad. I just figured that you would get more response from the FI forum guys.

I built these and I have yet to post in this section regarding there function or parts related to them.

I stick to the All Motor section and have gotten lots of info.

they look good but maybe you should have put the runners further down on the stock manifold flange to eliminate some of the turn on the number 1 cylinder.

Thanks

I thought the same thing. Maybe my next set I'll have them equally spaced like they should be.

The No. 1 runner doesn't look quite as bad from the inside. I massaged it a bit to try and straighten it out.
