Hello everyone! I have a 1993 accord ex 4 dr. Yesterday my cel came on and I got a code 9 out of it. I know the code has to do with cylinder 1 being out of time. Right before the light comes on after I drive for A while the car hesitates and chugs twice then the light comes on. I replaced the distributor, rotor, and rotor cap about two years ago. Is the rotor bad, or is the distribtor junk? Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

 

I would check the timing first to see if it's really out. if not, you may need another distributor.

The sensors in the aftermarket distros are not great. 2 years is not too bad. If it is not already, get a lifetime warrantied one.
