I would change the oil first just in case there's a buildup of water in the oil pan.

Did you happen to drive your car through standing water or something?

You might have a different problem then. Usually the AEM will only suck in water if you are in a pretty deep puddle. Alot of my friends here in Vancouver BC (in rains forever here in the winter) have had no problems in the rain.

Oh, and do a search, this topic with some solutions (some better than others) have been discussed thoroughly.

Naw, your engine isn't gone. If its still running, then your motor is still good. You just have to check some ****. Take out your spark plugs to see if theres any water on them. If there is, then you're going to need to turn the motor by hand so that the water can be pushed out. If your engine light is on, then see what code you're throwing

try checking your spark plugs thats a good start there. if your car hesitates really bad, then you do have water in your engine. hmm you chaged your oil already like i said tyr the plugs to see if thats the case and clean aorund the plug holes to.
