Default silly question/quick answer (code16)

So after driving solidly for 6 hours on highway, i took my car (ls-v) for a more "spirited drive". As Soon as i romped on it (hot rev limiter in 1st and 2nd), in 2nd gear, felt the car bog down and noticed cel light on and could not rev past 3,5k.

Got home, realized the cel light was code 16 (injectors).
Nothing i could do cuz I was in the middle of nowhere.

Same day, night time, I decide to put the car away and decided to see if I could rev past 3,5k, and yes i could (in neutral at least). I also noticed that the cel light was not on... However if i checked the code, it would still flash code 16...

So my stupid question is as follows:

Does that mean that the car is fine (until I clean the injectors) because the cel light is not on?
Or do cel lights just go off after you stop / start the car?

I understand I have to take care of the matter, but I have not touched the car in a month and in 2 days I am about to take it out on another 6 hour (highway) drive to my new home and I am scared that I am going to mess something up. I also hope that the injectors will be fine because if I can't rev past 3,5k, I'll def get pulled over for driving like a grandpa!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA

ANy thoughts or suggestions? (for all i know everything will be fine). but I'm somewhat anxious about what may happen!!
