Help with Alternator problem
i just did a real stupid move and need some help pointing me in the right direction,
i did a timing belt water pump last week and the nut that goes back on the alternator to recharge the battery didnt get put back on. I lost it. so today, i went to honda, got the bolt and got a new battery ( i drained my old one driving around with out that nut on the alternator... pretty dumb move ) n e ways it gets worst, i installed the battery, then put that nut on the alternator and it made a spark, now the car won't beep at me when i open the doors or do n e thing. i think i shorted out a fuse. ( i know i am suppose to connect the battery after connecting the alternator but ppl. where talking to me and i wasnt thinking) If some one can point me in the right direction as too what i've gone and broken now holler at me please and thx

Sounds like you blew the 80A main fuse in the engine bay fuse box. It's a block fuse, price is $6.30 from Honda. You can also find them in most '90 and newer Hondas in a salvage yard.
