I have a 1998 hx 2door really clean car hydrolocked motor, I bought it for 200 with a clear title from my friend. I was going to fix the car, and resell, but may have to sell the way it is. i am not a honda guy really, but I was wondering how much I could get for this car the way it is, junk yard here will only pay 225. How was it hydrolocked? Flood damage? Or did the car had a aftermarket intake and suck up water in a puddle. If the body is straight and not flood damage, you should at least get a grand for it.

 

If its a manual HX its worth something, if its got the CVT not so much.

 

Its a cvt transmission, and it was hydrolocked from driving through a puddle. I can get a bottom end of a d16y5 for 200 everything but the head, never disassembled.
