Default Throttle body: A good idea or waste of money?

So far, I have done i/h/e and added a Skunk2 intake manifold to my non-VTEC B20. And since it is a relatively easy mod, I am considering a throttle body. But opinions vary widely on this mod. Some say it can add quite a bit of power to the right setup while others say it is just a way to rid yourself of that pesky extra cash. Has anyone tried a throttle body on a similar setup? Did it help? By the way, keep in mind that the Skunk2 intake manifold can accept up to a 68mm thottle body without modifications.
