Default what year transmissions can I use?

I have a 96 accord EX 4cyl, the automatic trans has crapped out and I'm trying to decide whether to fix this car or part it out...what years are the transmissions compatable to? if anyone can give me any info it would be appreciated, tia guys

from what I can gather the years that will work are 94-97 if anyone cares, hope this helps someone

Doing a simple search you'll find out that ANY F or H series transmission will work. Minus the F20C and F22C.

Look into the 98-01 Accord trannies, too. I know the 5 spds work, maybe the autos work, too. Might be an opportunity to get a newer transmission.
