Ls swap 91 civic dx no spark
I have just swapped in a 1991 B18A in to a 91 civic dx it ran with the pm6 si distributor but it ran like it was out of time. The motor ran great in the car in which I pulled. I went and switched it with the Ls distributor now has no spark. Has anyone had this problem... Maybe there is something stupid I have over looked. I have also replace every thing inside the distributor.....Stumped......
So I now have solved my own problem. I suppose who ever had the distributor before I got a hold of it had the blue wire and the white wire reversed on the igniter. I switch the two wires and the car started.... It still thows a code 4. Now that it is running it is throw a code 19. After doing some research I have found it to be the Lock-up control solenoid... odd.... after more research I have found that someone has switch the ecu in the Integra with a 37820-pr4-A60 which would be a automatic ECU.....that would also explain why it idles up and down 200 rpms.....hmm... guess i will be on the hunt for a manual Ecu now.
