WTB "EK" Rear Drum setup (trailing arm, cables, hoses, etc.). I've seen them for about $20-$40. Any 1996-2000 Civic setup should work, but even offer me some "EG" setups cause there are some compatible ones.

Thanks!

found some in cali for you, no idea how close he is to you but he's asking $20 for them, and afaik, EG setups bolt on fine.

LOL.

That's me on another forum. I bought an EG setup, but it's smaller than an EK from what I'm told.

lol. I may have heard that, but you didn't even try it? I wouldn't think it would be a problem.

I'm going to match up the rear shoes @ work today. But my other concern is the length of cables / hoses since I got it off a hatch. People have said it'll work, but i'm skeptical because Honda has different part numbers, why would they make different part #'s if something wasn't significantly different?

According to this, all 88-00 civic drum brake setups are the exact same size.

I compared the part numbers for the rear shoes and the CX / DX / VX hatch at least for EG ARE smaller than the EK ones, considerably smaller. I'm not sure how much the bias would be affected, but since I'm going to the trouble I might as well do it right with the EK setup.
