Wife was always complaining that I spend more time with my cars then I did with her..lol Told her "Well at least when my car makes a sound I don't like, I just turn off the key". Well,,,,,,,,, She served me, with a Divorce. Instead of going out and finding a lawyer and giving them my money I am spending it on my project DB8..

Had the car for 8 months now and I'm still trying to perfect the bodywork. Lot of blocking still and aligning the body.Going to change a whole lot of things on it.

This Happens; Rushing to get it finished for Eibach 2010 wasn't using a jackstand the stock jack broke and the rotor cut my almost took my leg off. Safety first!!




Traded My 93 SI for it. Fresh painted. for a baby hauler.

Painted black, but opted for a Baby blue/ grey paint. Yes I paint my own projects..

Ended up with this;Polished the Rims, Shaved the moldings, new/used front and rear bumpers,


red candy marbled the engine bay. pics don't do it justice at all



Kinda like the 98' and up look for a minute was gonna paint it; then the B-word hit me with a divorce.. So I went out and got this... She got even more mad so I got a A-Zect lip and Mugen sides(rep)






Don't know what color I'll paint it yet, due to the fact that I'm so stressed at the events that is happening in my life; I still try to stay positive. My Daughter and My car will always keep me happy ( also the child support/spousal support that she has to give me)... After all said and done I'm gonna go and finally get my NSX cause now there's only my daughter..Hopefully soon..

 

Sucks that you're getting a divorce. But at least you still have the time to mod your car. Did you polish the VC yourself? And do you have any up close pics? I'm thinking of doing mine.

Thanks for the comments guys. Going to swap the B20 soon back for a GSR or TypeR and change out those rims for something fresh.

Wait till some of the guys that knows me see my thread, they'll tell you that I get outta hand with my cars.. Even though she's divorcing me doesn't mean life have to change.. She was into cars before, I met her in a slammed Prelude SI. She is just mad cause I don't want to drive a Range Rover, all a sudden she wants a freaking Rover; what to match with the LV bags she have.. I think her LV bags looks good with her Honda Fit..

What's crazy is even though I'm a free man from marriage, I gotta still deal with her *** till one of us dies.. my daughter is 4 and 14 more years I got Child Support, but after that I got to see her at my daughters grad, when she grad college, If my daughter gets married..I got to see her face there also and knowing her she's gonna try her best to get me to flip out... She tried to get me to hit her a couple of days ago, I was like "hell no!!, don't want to go to jail and shower with dudes"..

Same here man. My hobby has taken over my life for the past 15 years and is still continuing. I have to say I LOVE every bit of it and wouldn't trade it for anything else . Well props for you in keeping it going

Its cool my wife almost left me over turboing the teg, put about 6 grand under the hood to say the least she wasnt happy and still isnt happy about it. I throttled off for a while to hang on to the wife but if your happy doing what your doing then have a good time with it.

 

You got a point there... She was really mad at me when I sold off my Valentine's gift she got me and went and put us in a bigger debt with the Aspec TSX (which got stolen in 7 months).

Sold it cause I thought it was bad luck.. had it for 4 months and the thing gets raped really fast.



This car was the beginning of the down fall of my marriage.Thing gets stolen in 7 months.. Thieves waited till I got the Euro-R interior (2,300 it cost) didn't even get a chance to take a pic of it..

 

My wife used to give me hell over my hobby. I gave her a choice. A: Spend money on strippers and beer B:keep a healthy hobby and live happily together. She chose wisely. Then again I kept a balance. In the end, my Honda is not going to give me p**y and having a loving family is more important. Best of luck man.

I'm Mature bud. Just that for some reason I'm never satisfied with my cars. I got a little carried away with the pursuit of a perfect build and recognitions from my peers. That I forgotten to spend more time with her, chasing another trophy has brought me into a road I never knew I was lost in. Thinking if I just buy her purses she would leave me alone was my mistake. I emerged myself with the car crowed daily to the point I had a lot of people I call friends having my place looking like a car show.

I work 40 hours a week, Tattoo, and work on other peoples car. So really I didn't balance my time for her..

 

Apparently you didn't really care too much about family.

You need to grow up dude, this is ridiculous.
