Default oem replacement suspension but 1.5 inch shorter

I have been thinkin how nice that would be if you can buy a suspension setup(spring and shock) from honda/acura that is 1.5-2 inches shorter than the stock one. Or maybe there is a setup like that..? i am looking to lower my car about 1.5 inches and have the most stock ride as possible. Have the wheels be right up to the fenders. btw look at bmw and mercedes, theirs is stock and lots of the nice cars have the wheels upto the fenders and the ride is GOOD.

My last option is to try to cut the stock springs a tad and cut the shock and make some threads on it. I just want to try and see how it will be. Right now I am running tokico whites in the front with a adustable sleeve and eibach lowering springs. The sleeve is there to stiff'n up my ride just a bit cuz it was a bit bouncy.
Anyone else have a funny setup that works and rides nice?

Cutting your springs is not the way to go.
The only factory suspension that im aware of is CTR, I think they lower around a inch.

Let me get this straight, you have illumnia's in front with eibach springs, but whats it the rear?

the rear are blue's with eibach. and I the rear. If I hit a little pot-hole or a weird spot in the road, the rear just BAMZ

the tein h tech is basically an itr spring + 20% on rates. same progressive spring and almost the same ride height just a touch lower.

the pro kit from eibach is worthless. too soft for the drop. it's a cut factory spring with the correct perch to sit

I have OE ITR springs on the low perch of koni yellows on my DD 94 hatch.

It has about a .5"-1" fender gap, rides great on full soft and never bottoms out.

man if I had a chance I'd like to see how it rides cuz all the ppl that say their honda's are good ride, is bouncy. I like my ride a little more on the stiff side.

Not bouncy at all IMHO. Actually if I adjust the shocks more than a turn from full soft, it becomes very over-damped.

Have you looked into Tanabe NF springs?

Sorry I don't know what car you have, but i'm guessing a ITR? Although I can't relate my old TL to your car, I also have had these springs on my TL. These springs made the car feel a bit stiffer than the stock suspension, and rode very comfortably still.

That's why konis are good, turn them to full stiff and it will be stiff.

My ride is harsh and kinda bouncy.
