Default simple question

i will be swapping a jdm b16a obd0 into my 90 hatch, i keep reading on swaps to make sure to do the dpfi to mpfi conversion first but thats mostly on d swaps that i see this, was wondering if i am going to have to do anything like this? the swap im doing is going to be from a known dealer and comes with everything such as harness sensors ecu injectors.

well is this 90 hatch a dx or si? dx WILL require the mpfi conversion. si WONT. youll already have 4 injectors. whatever motor gets swapped, unless its another dpfi motor with dpfi youll have to convert

but i guess i still dont understand why i will be needing to do this. i have a harness designed to swap a b16a into the ef chassis already made for me, and i will be changing the ecu sensors injectors etc so to me everything that needs to be changed is changed, am i wrong?
