Default Stock Height Camber Wear? What's Wrong?

So I've been getting some uneven tire wear on the last 2 sets of tires. This is my daily beater (94 ej1) and I have some 16x7's on em. Went through 1 set of 205/40/16's and 1 set of 205/45/16's both of which showed camber. Suspension is only some cheap NRG strut bars front and back. Had an alignment done after I burned through the first set of 40's and though bumping the size up was going to help, but it didn't. might need another alignment because i bumped into something on the road a couple weeks back and steering wheel's been shaking a little over 80 now, but I wanted to get a mount and balance before I took it for the alignment.

Any thoughts? Suggestions?

is it the tire size? should i bump it up to the 50? lower them to 195's?
or is it just straight up the wheels?
or should is it something else?

The most likely cause of excessive wear on the inside of the tire tread is the alignment - not the camber, but the toe. So get another alignment.

The tire size does not cause uneven tire wear. However, get the proper size for your car, for a whole lot of other reasons. The best size for a '94 Civic is either 205/40-16 or 195/45-16.

are you going to a dedicated alignment n suspension shop? or is this just like a chain store who has an alignment rack for computerized alignment?

go to a specialized alignment shop n im sure they'll be able to tell you exactly whats going on.

and ken is right. either get a 195/45-16 or try to trade or sell your rims n get 15" w/ 195/50-15 tires.

upper ball joints? wheel bearings? those could cause uneven wear.
although the alignment shop SHOULD have checked that first
