but, im trying to buy coilovers for my civic. what im wondering is where in the seattle/tacoma area is the best shop to buy my coilovers?

Support your local businesses. Check out speedfactory up there.
If not, AMR Engineering is a WA based company and they use Hypercoil springs and monotube dampers. Check out www.amrengineering.com, talk to Andy.
