if the dash vin is gone due to a dash swap, can i still legalize the car?

the car is a b16 swap. im new to hondas, just looking for info on if the dash swap is frowned upon

yeah, cause you still have the VIN on the fire wall as well. if you get pulled over and a cop asks about it, tell him you had to replace the dash.

 

I think the person who did the dash swap should be frowned upon.He didn't even swap the vin over to the new dash.

 

i dont know a whole lot about the civics history, other that it has been mostly overhauled, and that its been done pretty cleanly. i was just worried that the missing vin would cause problems when buying/registering/inspecting the car.

what problem areas should i look for on the car? i know the basics, shock tower, floors, pillars and roof, but is there anything specific?
