11.784@133.49 on Street tires 205/50/15 Nitto neo gens
Well for the past few weeks i have ran probably 10-15 12.0XX passes so it was about time i made it into the 11's! My only goal this year was to be a consistant 11 sec street car on street tires.. Drive it to the track no changing tires or anything...
Tires that i use are 205/55/15 Nitto neo gens...free rev it to about 5100-5200 and pretty much slip it and play with the clutch/throttle in 1st then shift 2nd and let it spin/hit rev-limiter... 3rd/4th have full traction at the track..
First pass tonight:
2.167 60ft
8.203 1/8th mile
100.79 mph 1/8th
11.994@133.07
2nd pass
2.178 60ft
8.082 1/8th mile
101.60 mph 1/8th
11.846@134.28
3rd pass
2.015 60ft
8.055 1/8th mile
100.21 mph 1/8th
11.862@132.84
Last pass
2.035 60ft
7.994 1/8th mile
101.44 mph 1/8th
11.784@133.49
the last 2 passes were a bit down on mph because i didnt come out as hard in 1st like the other 2 passes.. it was more of a Bog kind of launch haha.. the 60ft's were better but they didnt feel like better passes...

I love it dude!!!!
I have the same tires now. I used to manage good track times on my old car on real street radials which were 195-50-15". I hope to run in the 12's on my car with the same tires you ran your times on. Only this time I am on a bone stock K20A2 instead of a turbo car. The car feels capable of that goal on the street, I just need to get to the track, which of course is a different story.
What sort of pressure you run in yours?

Thanks man..
Well when i first started on saturday night i had 20psi in both tires.. But i started playing with the tire pressure and ended up putting the driver side tire at 20 and put the passenger tire at 17,,, right after i did that i went 11.8 so it could be been driving it different or the tires dont know haha
Nothing better then driving your car to the track and not doing anything an just line up hit 11's and drive it home, congrats
Thanks man..

I have personally had a lot of good results from taking a lot of air out of my street tires. This was 5 years ago or so though on a different brand.
There is a possibility that I may take my car to the track next week. Since I do not have any other tires to race on right now, the Nittos will have to work......
**** i couldnt do that with my stock gsr either haha... I found out later on how to play with the clutch/throttle.... Theres a fine line there and when you find it, it works great!

i love tegs
