Default Bike rack / trailer hitch rack

Has anyone got one on their car? I've got a couple of mountain bikes I'd like to tool around on

Less intrusive the better... don't really like drilling holes in the car if I don't have to, thanks

Worried about screwing up the paint using a roof rack...!

Hitch is preferable for this, no?

What about one of those racks that go on the trunk? I have seen a few Civic coupes & sedans use them but never a CRX.

Yakima racks shouldnt damage the paint because they provide you with padded stickies for on the inside of the mounting bracket, have them on my sedan and paint is A-ok

The roof rack is perfectly fine. As mentioned, they have pads on the mounting brackets. Just make sure you remove the bikes from the rack BEFORE you park in the garage. Thats how you get dents on your roof...uggg.

If you already have a hitch, your option is the rear mount. I had the Yakama one for my LandRover and it worked really well. Just remember it is back there when you back up or park. In addition, make sure you buy the anti-tilt part. It will keep the rack from moving side to side.
