first of all: canadain 92 prelude(came with daytime running lights)

So my drl light is on.no drl's. low beams work while lights are turned on, and only driverside highbeam when highbeams are on.I have searched and found out about the "drl module"(mitsuba rz-0126) under the passenger side carpet beside the ecu. i have removed this module and re soldered the cracked solders, in not one but three different modules and still no luck. I have checked all headlight/day light fuses, all are good. I have read there is a daytime relay as well as the module? Is this true? cannot find it. is there anything else i can try?? car needs them for inspection..

What bulbs do the DRL's use when they are working?

I would check your high beam bulb that isn't working as well, and make sure it is ok. Most DRL systems feed lower power to one of the regular headlight bulbs, and I think the 4th gen it is the high beam, so fixing that bulb could be your issue?

 

Yeah as far as I know you are correct and it is the highbeams that are used as the drl's. I never really thought to check, I was told the bulbs were fairly new, But its worth a try. thanks
