Default 2005 Civic died and wont start

2005 VP Sedan. Bone stock, no mods. Has 60K and is in great shape with no CODES. Yesterday morning, I started it up, then it died abruptly after about 5 seconds. Cranks fine, but will not run. No performance degradation noted over last months. Rock Solid at 42-43mpg.

1. Verified Immobilizer circuit is OK at Relays.
2. Verified getting Spark at all plugs
3. Fuel pump delivers 45psi to fuel rail. Relays are OK.
4. Valves are moving. Therein timing belt is intact.
5. Throttle body has good vacuum
6. Injectors are getting their on/off pulse. Verified with a GM Injector Testor.
7. 12.78v on battery. Tests good on VAT-40.
8. Zero Codes

It never even kicks like it's trying to fire. The plugs are bone dry. Fuel Pressure is good all the way to the fuel rail fitting. Is there a mechanical pressure switch in that fuel rail that can fail? I can't see the problem being anywhere else.

I can't imagine it could have skipped a tooth on the timing gear, because it doesn't even try to fire at any point.

All options, opinions and ideas welcome. It's got me stumped, and I'm rarely stumped.
