So how do you cali guys do it?
Here's my question,
for the cali guys that have modified motors, how do you get by smog?
I mean, lets say you have an LS/VTEC or something with major bottom end work and cams. Obviously you're running OBD1 with some type of tuning software and you can't use the stock ECU to run it for smog. I highly doubt people are swapping motors back and forth every time smog comes around, so to the people that have heavily modded motors what are you doing? Or does it just come down to paying some money every 2 years?

yes.
unfortunately this sort of talk is frowned upon on h-t, i'm sorry.
i know you are just wondering, as i have about those living in Kalifornia, but then i realized the answer is pretty obvious, and nobody really wants to talk about it for logical reasons.
