Rear wheel lag...
Hello all,
Well the short of it is, I just installed new trailing arm bushings in my 96 civic. Didn't have a press tool, so I had to disconnect the trailing arm (without disconnecting the brake lines) so that I could hammer the old bushings out and hammer the new ones in. Everything was a success, and I even took it in for an alignment where they said everything was still straight as an arrow even though I took out the toe bolt on both sides to remove the arm.
The problem is, when I drive now, I feel a pretty significant lag in the rear of the car. I was told by the mechanic where I took it in for an alignment that I might have messed up the ebrake cable a bit when taking the arm off and having it hang. How would one check for that, or better yet, could there be another reason for this lag? Thanks.
