I was hoping you would chime in.

is this legal for NSCRA? IFO? SICC? etc? i know some say it has to come out past the rear axle

True street in NSCRA its legal. IFO and SICC have different rules for different classes.
At SICC I would have to race in Extreme 72 because I have a G-Force shifter. In that class you can run an open DP.

In Real Street (SICC) you need full exhaust exiting the rear of the car. The same goes for FIS at IFO.
Hope that helps

actually they changed the rule in SICC to read " that exhaust needs to exit from underneath vehicle"

Damn all these rules....

i just want to do something simple and cheap... i guess i will just cut my down pipe make it exit under the vehicle and weld on a vband to a muffler and remove it for IFO and local races and just put the muffler on when i get out to a NSCRA event.
