ok so i got the polished asr brace for my eg .. that went on good but the beaks bar dont go on at all idk how that goes on but.. the sway bar would go on but it doesnt fit cuz of my exhaust apexi ws2 wtf any help the only thing i can think of is its cuz its a si hatch

 

Alot of people have issues with sway bars and certain exhausts.


Why would you have a beaks bar and a ASR brace? Completely pointless..

weaksauce sold it to me as a package deal the asr and the beaks.. go on there website they have a package deal with it.. i called them and they said there not made to go together.. so i was like why do u sell it as a package deal.. there like idk everyone does it..

 

the asr does the same anount of stiffening as the beaks. so, you either run one or the other... definitely don't need both, even tough it "looks cool".

also, iirc, asr changed their design slightly to make the beaks and other bars NOT fit. tired of their name behind someone else...

 

wow i just figured it out my headers and cat are like less then a inch too short so its not long enough.. and still dont kno how to put the beaks on

i just dont understand how weaksauce could sell me this knowing it doesnt fit together.. and if u go on there site it comes as a package deal the polishd asr with the polished beaks.. so i bought that.. i called them and there like.. yea it doesnt fit together u have to modify it sorry.. i was like why do u sell it together then and there like idk everyone does it..

They're not falsely advertising anything... they just put a package together like that so all the hella tight JDM fanboys could buy them and make them money.

But learning that ASR changed their design so the BEAKS* bar doesn't fit is kinda wack... anyone know how exactly they changed it?

 

The beaks bar will fit. They just changed the design to allow use of the stock length LCA bolts. Just go out and buy some longer bolts and it will fit fine.

 

That's what I was thinking.

I haven't seen the ASR bar up close, but I figured they just gave smaller bolts and/or thickened the actual brace so that you couldn't fit a BEAKS* under it.

 

yea i have the same issue. u need to get (2) 10X1.25X110mm bolts to get it to work

 

Just make sure you get some high tensile bolts, i had some shims made up to fit inside the new style ASR to run a beaks bar.
But to be honest running both is pointless so i took mine off.

IM running a spoon street back box and it was a tight fit.

 

even if i put longer bolts it will not have a tight fit

 

i have the sway bar the asr its a 24 tho.. but my cat and header are too short.. i need to make it like a inch longer and then my exhaust muffler will come out more so i can get the sway bar bracket on the right side cuz it wont fit on right now cuz its too short
