CC clutch instal question. HELP! =)

Just got the Competition Clutch 6 puck sprung clutch for my 03 RSX-S, but it has a silver "ring" that Im not sure I have installed correctly.
I put it on the alignment tool, bolted up and torqued the PP and removed the tool, leaving the ring behind the clutch. Is this correct? Or does this "ring" need to be installed 1st? (or differently?) It looks like it will be a pain in the *** to get the input shaft in with that "ring" floating around...

Small ring about the size of a quarter?? Thats the pilot bushing. You have to remove the old pilot bushing from motor. You need a bushing remover or you will never get it out. Then you have to press in/hammer in/ tap in the new bushing.
