Default Auto Tranny Fluid Flush

Hi, im use to changing fluid on my manual tranny, but im going to be changing the tranny fluid of an '01 Accord EX i-4 this week... I think its a little different from my manual tranny. Can anyone explain to me what i would need to do to flush the auto tranny fluid? thanks in advance!

i think it is the same...but im not sure. i guess i didnt really help huh...i hope someone else will come in on this, cos i would like to know too.

theres a auto tranny drain bolt to the left of the oil drain bolt and you just open it and let it all come out. tighten it up, and pour like 3 or 4(im not exactly sure) of honda atf through the engine bay tranny dipstick hole. make sure its honda aff, it works best.

Thanks alot! So the drain bolt is not on the side of the Auto tranny like manual trannys?

.no its not. see i have access to a lift at my job and it makes things easier. once you jack up or lift the car up, you will easily see the bolt under the tranny. good luck and remember to always use honda atf .

The drain plug looks the same as a manual trans drain plug. Similar service, just easier to fill. I agree, use Honda ATF.

It would be like 4 if you don't touch the turbine, if you do the turbine it would be like 9

does the car need to be level or can you just jack up the front? thanks!!
