well ive had my hatch for a while and figure i post it up its no where neer done i need to put my 15x8 slips on and roll the fenders a bit. Not to mention cut my strut tower out so my control arms aren't layed out on them any more. some people will hate it some may like it, whatever here she is

plans are to put the wheels on, put the turbo sohc motor in over winter and just drive it

mods that are on the car now include thule rack with cargo basket( i use my roof rack, jack 2x4's, and why a cooler? i have no cup holders haha) 6k xenon hid's brand new stanely lights.

p.s. suspension is skunk 2 coilover sleeves with gc top hats in the rear and stock civic springs cut in half on adjustable sleeves in the front with gc top hats going 2 inches lower in the back and another one in the front asap

Looks terrible... but I'd take it over those rusted hood-VW poser cars.

 

1.yea i know the lip is fake im over it its on the ground 24/7 anyway what else is fake?
2. the hood is dented and i had to cut a hole in it caused the cable for the latch snapped at the latch.........
3. its drawn on because i love art, its what i do
4. blah blah blah rotas aren't real blah blah blah i have friends that track rotas harder then most people ever will and they hold up
5.if the strut towers get cut how is the car ruined? its not like i cant ever patch it back up? plus its a 92 civic dx there only 5 million of them in the us its not gonna hurt if one goes missing

Not a fan. It will be a good project if you start over. I do like a white eg hatch though..

yea but when your this low there is no way to not hit control arms on strut tower my friend danny mahl (welds jeff eveans roll cages) is going re-weld the strut tower in and inch and a half higher where the control arm hits it will barely be noticable.

and im not going to buy a real lip the car gets driven everyday. why waste $400 on a lip that will be destroyed in one hour of driving time? the poly one is awesome it just folds

and i am doing me and sorry my parents aren't millionares who buy me what ever i want. im 19 i go to college and work as a lighting tech for concerts i put money in the right places like my bills and health insurance not all of it into my car

 

a Si lip is not $400 you can find one for 1/10th of that and will make your car look more cleaner imo

 

looks good man. you are doing your thing. keep doing what u want to do and don't let any one on here discourage you.
