KY 06' GSXR 600 FOR TRADE (will add $$)
***BIKE IS IN THE SHOP FOR ROUTINE PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE, WILL HAVE PICTURES BY FRIDAY***
I have a 2006 GSXR 600 with 7500 miles on it.
-BRAND NEW (10 miles) Pilot Power 2CT tires.
-Akraprovic Carbon fiber shorty exhaust slip on
I want:
-NO UGLY CARS (I don't want to do exterior work or drive a beater)
-96+ Civic 2 door/4 door (with mods, at minimum a B18C1 engine, turbo preferred, k-series preferred)
-RSX
-Integras
-anything else that looks nice, and has potential
I am willing to add a couple thousand dollars on top of the deal if I feel the car is worth it. This does not mean send me your 1996 civic with a b series engine in it and ask for my bike and 2k....not going to happen...dealing with me will be pretty much even trade for even trade...which I realize will be difficult since everyone is going to value their stuff at different prices.
About the bike:
I bought the bike early this summer from a local guy. The bike was black and gray, but when I bought it the side fairing had a crack in it from being pushed over in a parking lot. I inspected it thoroughly and there were no signs of the bike ever being laid down...it was absolutely spotless except for the cracked side fairing.
So I bought the bike, and soon after a friend bought the same bike in white/blue...which I envied very much. So while searching ebay one day for a fairing to replace the cracked one, I stumbled upon an auction for a complete set of OEM fairings in primer for the same price as the one brand new painted fairing. I took a chance and bought them. Took them to a motorcycle shop here in town and he confirmed they were OEM and in amazing shape. He stripped them again (just to ensure it was done correctly) and repainted the whole bike OEM white and blue. He used tri-coat paints, factory color codes, and did a very detailed job. At the time he also put on new pilot power 2CT tires. The paint job was not a quickie, or a cheapie...it took him a week and cost me about $1100 bucks (which is on the high side but he does good work) I sold the black/gray fairings (minus the cracked one) and almost broke even and got a color I was happy with...so it worked.
Bike has never been down. Myself, the previous owner, and the painter can all confirm this. The only reason I bring this up is because 9 out of 10 squids on bikes end up getting paint work because they end up going down over a first time rider mistake at low speeds. My situation is very different- I took a chance when I bought these fairings, but after confirming they were OEM and that I could sell my old fairings I decided to change the color to make me happy. I have pictures of the bike going in to the shop before the old fairings were pulled off, pictures of the old fairings off, and pictures of the new fairings before they were painted if you have any questions about the bike's history.

I got a 89 civic si with 400whp nasty fast.. I had a local guy wanted to trade me his 06 GSXR 600 mint with 4300miles and i passed.. So lmk
I also have a built ls/vtec, 0 miles, hot tanked/honed, rs machine pistons, arp rod bults/head studs, acl race bearings, new oem everything else. For more cash on top of my car, I'd part with the motor too.
