um.. the tool?... you just need an allen key and your hand...

 

no the tool that grabs in the small divets on the ring of the sleeve.

 

they dont come with a tool....unless they made a tool for it recently?? when i had mine, it just came with an allen wrench and you turn it with your hands....

 

naw, i know about the allen tool. but there is another tool, kinda resembles a pipe wrench but it is one piece and fits perfectly around half of the gold ring in the notches.

Ground Control is different from all other coilovers. All you need is that small screw driver thingy, (sorry i'm not mechanically inclined) to loosen the coilover up and you adjust the coilover with your hand. If it's too stiff, just get a normal wrench and it should work.

 

have you used these or installed them, they come with a tool.

 

i had them....they dont come with the tool......

 

people think we are retarded or something. i know that a tool exists, its just going to be a beotch to find it.

Guys, don't you know you can get it for free from Ground Control.

Just say you need the spanner wrench for your ground controls.
At first they might say you don't need it, but just say you have a bad back, and can't exert that much force to get the perch to the top. They will ship it out to you.

That's what I did, and I have a lovely piece to use on my car now.

I've sold over 10 sets of these and they do come with this tool.

 

i got them about 3 years ago directly from ground control.....paid retail...and didnt get the tool at all. although i never needed it.....maybe they recently added the tool....

all i was saying is...i didnt get a tool with mine....and i never needed one...and i know a couple people that don't use the tool, soo why do you need to waste money and buy one?

 

nope...not anymore. did you sell 10 sets back in the day? because ground control no longer includes the tool.
call g.c. at 530-677-8600 if you need the spanner wrench (it has a bottle opener on the other end )
