H22 to H23 swap
Okay, so after numerous problems with my 2001 prelude, I've hit rock bottom. Got a big *** hole in my block haha. Anyways, I'm about to buy a new motor. Right now it has an H22, but the place I want to buy it from is out and only has an H23. I don't know much about the differences, and he's making it the same price for swap and actual motor. I have a few questions...
1. For the same price, is the H23 going to satisfy me more? or should I wait?
2. Will I need a new ECU? Different harness? Different wires?
3. Is $1300 a good price for an H23 with 40,000 miles?

You guys are thinking of the H23a1, judging by the price of $1.3k I'm pretty sure the OP is talking about the H23a VTEC from the Accord SiR. OP, check this thread out, it should answer a lot of questions you have.
Yeah, I was gonna say that is the OP talking about the JDM H23A VTEC or not?
I say, it'll drop in with no problem. Just re-use your H22A4 IM, Injectors, and distributor.
