I've only got two wires left I need to connect to my new ignition switch, a red and a yellow. I've been looking at the diagram and both say they need to be connected to a 12 volt + Ignition/Crank wire.
Now my question is, would it matter which of those two wires went to the white 12 volt constant, or the black/yellow ignition wire? Are they interchangeable?

Red to the thick white wire and yellow to the the thick black with yellow. If your doing a basic alarm you can find this wire at the ignition harness or in the fuse box. If your doing a stealth install you can find theses wires behind the dash but the 12 volts constant becomes white with blue.
Hey, thanks for the reply! Now I have another red wire under the dash
One of those red wires was spliced into one of the wires connected to the starter wire on the ignition harness. You said the red wire on the right of this diagram is the one that connects to the thick white wire correct?
That leaves this last red wire I believe was connected to this white wire that connects to the starter wire on the ignition harness?

That red wire on the relay goes to the ignition wire. If you tag that one to 12 volts constant. It will keep the relay on while the car is armed. Also look into a better kill switch. This one is real easy to bypass.
what is the red wire at the top the picture connected to?? the alarm brain or somewhere in the car?? is that solid red, or red / white stripe??
the white wire on the relay with the red wire tied in looks like the key side of the starter kill circuit, while the black wire is the starter side. this is how i wire my starter kill relays that way the relay only draws current when the key is in start position. other wise it just rests.

My remote isn't affecting the alarm in any way which leads me to think it's not getting power somehow, because when I usually reconnect the battery the siren goes off and I have to shut it off with my remote.
