No spark, please help
okay so heres my setup, i got a 1991 civic hatch base model that had a d15b1 motor with a 4 speed trans. did a motor swap of a d16a1. it turns over but will not fire. i used my dpfi harness and wired for a mpfi, 1989 PG7 ECU, and the distributer is from the d16a1. is it possible my wiring is wrong? or something else, please anyone, i know there are other people with a d16a1 swap out there, tell me what u got
do you have any codes showing at the ECU? - do you have the spark plug wires in the correct locations on the distributor cap? - D16A1 spark plug wire locations on the cap are:
#1 at top, #3 toward front of car, #4 at bottom, #2 toward firewall
#1 at top, #3 toward front of car, #4 at bottom, #2 toward firewall
Ya there all in the right spots. Do you think the dizzy is shot? Last week I had spark and no fuel now I have fuel and no spark. No codes at the ecu either. Is there anyone around south eastern Wisconsin that could come by and take a look at it. It's my first motor swap and I hate to ask for help like this but I need to get this thing running
