Hi, I am in the middle of stripping my interior and painting all of the grey parts (with SEM landau black), along with wrapping the headliner and replacing the door fabric inserts.

My question is: What honda/acura has black seat belts that are compatible with my 2002 Civic DX?

The current ones seem to have a detonator in the base of the seat belt assembly (i dont know if that will make a difference, but i thought i'd point it out).


PS: Thanks for reading my question and once this little interior project is done i'll make my first contribution to honda-tech with pics and updates on the longevity of the paint.

(oh and i definitely did search in the 2001-2005 section but couldnt find anything for "seat belts" "seat belt" or "black seat belts")

 

I have an EX and mine is black. Looks like the EX models have black. Make sure it's the one for your model (side SRS or non-side SRS).

As far as interior color is concerned, it doesn't matter if it's an EX or not.

Satin Silver Metallic came with charcoal / black interior. Find a silver DX and swap the seat belts. Done.

If I remember correctly the Rallye Red, Inca Pearl, Titanium Metallic, Magnesium Metallic, and Shoreline Mist Metallic also came with charcoal / black interior.

 

You are right that Satin silver color came with the black interior seat belt. I am sure that You will not get it as You want. But I wish that You will get the black seat belt as well. Even I have also charcoal interior seat belt.
