It is on the gas tank. Which you have to drop out of the car to get to.

i am not sure but if you look in the engine bay and if you dont see a tubular item on the firewall or see anything like that close to or connect to the fuelrail, then you probably have the same as mine. according to B the Turbo Pimp, the fuel filter is next to the gas tank..... honda

thankfully for you guy(dude w/ the 4th gen) yours is right on the firewall
look at you fuel rail on the end toward the passenger. there will be a metal tube that heads back toward the firewall and under some black plastic box that i can't remember what it is and down. your fuel filter is back there directly bolted to the firewall. you will have to remove that box to get to it.

yah its easy to do. my advice to you is pull the fuse to the fuel pump, start the car and let it die (kills pressure in the line) and then swap it out. never fear.. some fuel will leak though but thats normal.

Take it easy. It's not that big a deal. It's not neccessary to replace it unless there is a problem with it. (Like most Honda's from "95" to present.)
