when i am engine breaking for more than a few seconds my CEL comes on. i just replaced the o2 so i am guessing maybe the o2 again? but why would it just come on when engine breaking?

or maybe its because my speedometer doesnt work?

you'll need to run the codes to see what error codes point ya to...

 

What year is your car? See what code you're throwing cause thats how you're find out whats wrong with your car.

 

where can i get ahold of some codes for the 3rd gen prelude? btw...i was just wondering if anyone might be able to throw out some POSSIBLE answers...i wasn't looking for anything definate (sp? i know i am going to get some flames on that word).

He's trying to tell ya if you let us know what code your getting we can tell ya how to fix it. Search for how to check codes it has been coverd a million times if you don't know how.

ok...i checked it: 1 long flash, and 7 short flashes. if i am not mistaking, that is 17...Vehicle Speed Circuit Malfunction.
My question for anyone who might want to answer it is- Why would this only read when i am engine breaking?
