NC FS: 2008 Yamaha R6 S <1k miles!!! $7100obo
PRICE DROPPED to $6500.00 FIRM
I am selling my Purplish-Blue 2008 Yamaha R6S. It only has 767 miles as of this post. I may take for it a short spin once or twice before it actually sells so the mileage might go up a few miles, but not much if any.
email if you're interested.. I won't get PMs bc I only check in every few weeks/month.. jp-slike@hotmail.com
MONEY ONLY PLEASE.... I need the debt gone, not interested in any type of trade. Thank you.
It has flush mount front turn signals, an intergraded rear tail light with built in turn signals. Has a spring loaded collapsible knurled shifter. It also has been lowered 1 7/8" front and rear. I used a set of calipers to ensure the front triple tree came down even on each side within .001", also to ensure the front and rear came down the same amount to not disturb the handling in turns. I have the stock tail light, as well as the original suspension link if you wanted to return to stock ride height.
I am the original owner. Feel free to email me with any REASONABLE offer. Don't waste my time low balling please. If you are seriously interested, and you would like more specific pictures, just PM me leaving your direct email and I'll send them on as soon as possible. Thank you.
The reasons driving this sale...
1. Loss of my 2nd job, as well as wife's job
2. NEVER any time to ride (as you can tell from the mileage)
the ONLY bad is.. when I bought it in Feb 2009 it was about 40 degrees out. I left the dealer with it, had to turn left at an intersection 0.2 miles from the dealer. I rolled into the intersection just fast enough (like 2mph) to keep my feet up. When I leaned left and started to let the clutch out it hit the ground. Blame it on the cold new (has that slick silicone coating) tire, small amount of thin gravel I didn't pay attention to or whatever. This is why I replaced the shift lever, replaced the clutch lever. The only other damage was cosmetic and ONLY scratched the stator cover and main left fairing. Didn't hit or mark any other painted parts luckily. I was going to just repair the scratches and paint the entire bike a custom color with no stickers, but never got around to it. all new OEM stuff can be had for $307 if you wanted to go that extreme. I have a website with part numbers. Personally I think this bike all black with a CF LevelOne racing exhaust 260mm would be sex. see left picture for scratches. Price reflects low mileage combined with the little cosmetic damage.

still for sale for payoff. I don't come to honda-tech much anymore, so if you're interested your best bet is to email me. It could be weeks before I see a PM about it. So long as this thread is here and doesn't say it has been sold, it is still for sale. Even if it hasn't been bumped in a long time.
