Blown q31 (iat) replaced IAT and code is gone??

Blown q31 (iat) replaced IAT and code is gone??
Well a friend hooked up the purge solinoid . I replaced the IAT (it was melted) and the code is gone. now my question is , the that q31 transistor have to be in place for the ecu to read iat? or is the q31 for the purge?

Q31 drives the EVAP purge solinoid.
the reason it pops is the purge and IAT plugs are switched.
you fixed the wiring correct?

yes wiring is all good. replaced the melted IAT and its all good. just didnt know f the q31 was for the evap or the iat. good to hear its the purge.
