Thinking about getting this. I do have a basic viper alarm but not enough security. I think this extra would do the job. Let me know what you guys think. Yes or No

naw, I would pass. Use the money that you would spend on that and upgrade your current alarm. If I was a theif I would just cut the wheel on the side and slide that right off.

 

I actually went to a local alarm store and they told me that they wouldn't be able to do an upgrade. They want to me to get a new one from them an uninstall the old one?? I know they are bs but I dont really care. My car is a weekend car and it is park in a secure garage. Not about to spend 500 bills or more for an upgrade. The only thing Im afraid is that when I go to certain places. That 10 or 15 min parking is what scares me. I think Im purchase this and the clutch lock. That is 2 lock with the viper alarm. Hopefully that should scare the thieves away.

 

Dei 520t back up battery-$40-50 buxs, dei 513t mini siren-$25-30 buxs. Your own time to pull your alarm out and and redo it. Nonething. You can use any alarm to protect your car. Its the install thats the key not the alarm. Just having a better brain adds features and range.
