Timing belt and balance shaft belt question

Timing belt and balance shaft belt question
I installed a new water pump, timing belt, and balance shaft belt. My question is, the hash marks on the the balance shaft are good with the pulley, but I dont think that piston number one was at TDC when I put the balance shaft belt on. Will this make a difference ?
