Default Spec clutch r junk dont buy one

spec clutches are junk and cant hold no power. i brought a stage 5 for h22 and the thing slipped in less than 300 miles. then spec dont want to back there product. oh yeah and then spec tells me they "misprinted" there power ratings. so a stage 5 cant even handle 350 ft pounds and it was suppose to handle 599 ft pounds. so anyone that makes any power wouldnt get a spec clutch there Junk

Do they require a break in?

I've met the SPEC guys and personally took a tour of their facility.. they backed their warranty on the clutch I purchased from them.

To come on here and just claim that all of our product is junk is not a fair claim. It is true that we had an issue with the transfer of information on the web site, but I made sure that was corrected when I found this. The capacity on the web site is correct now. The stage 5 is rated to hold 365 lb ft to the flywheel in it's normal form and somewhere around 450 lb ft with the "superclamp option". I think 450 lb ft is a good amount for a small single disc clutch. I personally used a stage 5 in my Integra for 2 years with great success. My car was a B series making 430 lb ft to the tire and the B series is only rated to 430 to the flywheel.
Also, to say that we don't back our products is incorrect as well. If you are having a problem with the clutch slipping due to an incorrect rating on the web site, contact us and we will be glad to help you.

and on a side note. before you want to come in here and start jumping on any ones case. did you even check to make sure your motor was properly set up before installing this unit? was your flywheel in good useable condition? what about your seals? how did it get installed? by you or another indivisual? was there oil on it before it got installed? what about your transmission? are/was there any cracks in the casing to make it leak fluid onto the clutch before/after you installed it?

process of elimination if your friend before you go rampaging about some one elses mistake before you even checked up on your own mistakes
