Hopefully your manifold/turbo/downpipe will allow you to have a/c

How do you get a 10 year old JDM car into the US legally. If its a convert, even the JDM hose or line may not even be the correct part number that you need.

Why on Earth would anyone convert a left hand drive car to a right hand drive car in North America? That is the stupidest thing I've ever heard!!
You can't be serious.

Rice??? I dont know about that. RHD doesn't make a car "rice." You mean converting a car to RHD is rice? That makes more sense.

The car is a theft recovery usdm type r. The guy I got it from bought a half cut and changed the core support, front cowl, and the fire wall. Why? Don't know don't care I got a good deal on it and after fixing the a/c and turbo leak I'll probably sell it for a c5 corvette. I have been offered $17,000 for it already and may take it. I go to school to build big inch max effort race engines so the type r is like a cute wind up toy that takes me from the house to the school. And for the whole rice thing I don't really care what you think , but I will if you pay my insurance gas and maintain the car your self let me know if I have any takers. To those of you that gave advice on the repair of the ac thank you and I will post pics ac. I do know it has a compressor and a condenser the blower motor works fine so I hope it just needs a charge. Does anyone have access to all data? I sure would like some diagrams.

You would be a complete idiot not to take $17K for that car.

The only person who would be dumber than you is the one buying it.
