Default How to do remote start w/ Viper 5701

Hello everyone

I will be installing an alarm on a automatic 1997 integra.

I have done an alarm installation before and can locate all the wires needed.

I would like to install remote start on my wife's vehicles. If anyone can explain to me which wires I will need to locate and connect I would greatly appreciate it

Thank You

Anyone?

I just need to know what wires will be used for what and what wires I can snip off the harness.

Thank you!

Also make sure that you plug in the switch on the alarm brain and make sure its in the on position. Or the alarm will not remote start.

I have a viper 5701 remote start.
I havent and dont want the remote start so i installed everything else. plus only the pink wire to the ignition.

My problem is that if i run the car then turn it off and remove the key. and try to arm the alarm . it wont. the remote wont responde. I check with a test light and check the pink wire and the alarm clicks inside. after that i am able to arm/disarm the alarm. I feel the alarm continues to receive the ignition messege and dosent allow me to do anything with it.
Thanks for the help.
