hey guys, im lookin to pick up an ef four door today. Its an lx, im pretty sure its got the 5 speed, and d15b2. ive never owned anything but EGs, so the world of cable trannys and dpfi is new to me. my question is, what are some of the specific things i should look for goin out on this thing? any quirks that i should check out? quick replies appreciated, im goin to check it out at ~3 today

Check everywhere for body rust. Check to make sure the windows roll down freely. Check to make sure the idle doesn't surge, check to make sure the exhaust doesn't smell like fuel or burnt oil. Check to make sure the throttle moves freely.

I mean, it's pretty basic stuff, there's nothing really different about any car. Just check that everything works in a way you are comfortable with. If they aren't, make sure it's something you're able to fix cheaply and use it as a bargaining chip.

 

grab the pinch welds if your fingers go though it.....dont buy it lol. but for 350 bucks i wouldnt be expecting gold.
